YMCA of Greater NY: Staten Island YMCA Counseling Service, North Shore

The YMCA Counseling Service is a substance abuse prevention and treatment program for adolescents and adults living in Staten Island. Their state licensed outpatient program includes treatment services for adults and older teens, prevention services for at-risk youth, and counseling services for children who have been affected by a parent’s addiction.

The Staten Island New Americans Welcome Center (NAWC)

Part of the YMCA North Shore Center at 285 Vanderbilt Avenue, the New Americans Welcome Center serves as multilingual information resource and referral center, and provide immigrant families with a wide array of instructional, vocational, recreational, family support, and social services. Instructional services include English as a Second Language, Cultural Orientation, Citizenship Preparation, Job Readiness, and Computer Literacy.

HHC Mobile Medical Office

 

The HHC Mobile Medical Office
Fridays, from 9 AM – 5 PM (except holidays)In partnership with Vanderbilt Avenue Moravian Church, the HHC Mobile Medical Office van is available in the church parking lot every Friday. Providing quality, affordable healthcare services for Staten Island adults, it’s healthcare workers on wheels, and offers primary care, diagnostics, screenings, flu-shots and even prescription services.In addition to Fridays at Vanderbilt Avenue Moravian Church, the HHC Mobile Medical Office is available at other locations around Staten Island on Mondays through Thursdays.To visit them online: Click Here
