About Us

We are a culturally diverse, Christ-centered Protestant faith community celebrating God’s grace in dynamic worship, and embodying his love in compassionate service to the community since 1889. Located in the Park Hill (also known as Clifton) area of Staten Island, our members hail from African, European, West-Indian, and Latin-American heritages. We strive to be inclusive and loving in the long-standing Moravian way. All are welcome.

Worship

Important aspects of our community are our rich mix of traditional and contemporary worship in hymns, spiritual songs, reading and preaching from the Holy Scriptures, and fellowship. We provide hymnals and Bibles for worshippers, however, you may bring your own Bibles if you choose. Our congregation’s diversity means that Sunday dress ranges from casual to formal, but all are welcome as they are. A typical Sunday service will last about one and a half hours with meet and greet, fellowship and/or church business afterward.

We also practice Holy Communion, Baptism, observe Holy Days as well as some events specific to the Moravian tradition.

Come and Worship with us, we would like to see you!

Sundays
10:00 AM: Morning Worship
10:45 AM: Children’s Church (Sunday School)

Children

Children of all ages are welcome in service, and our Sunday School is an active feature for the young up to age 12. If needed, for very young children there are seats, crayons, paper and puzzles available in the back of the church.

Programs and Events

We are Moravians, so we value community and mission. Our ministries include our Giving Library that collects and offers free books to people of all ages; our recorder class that teaches music to beginners; our one week summer Bible camp, Vacation Bible School, for children, and much more. We host a monthly Community Dinner that serves free meals to attendees as part of the greater Staten Island Moravian mission work. Feel free to explore our website for more of our ministries and learn about other Moravian mission projects.

Parking

While we do have a parking lot, parking is limited. However, parking is also available on the street on Sundays and the neighborhood is primarily residential.
